The perfect way to fish a mahseer river and to see more of where our
fish live, one must do it by raft. Three of the most raftable rivers
are the Ganga, Sarju and the Mahakali. Our rafting guides and expertise
come from Aquaterra, India's top outdoor adventure outfitters with many
firsts to their credit. Some tours are on a fixed departure basis with
a book-by date. Outside of these dates, we'll be happy to run up a customised
tour for you anytime depending upon the river conditions.
All tours are inclusive of travel from New Delhi, all board, delux accommodation
wherever available or camp, permits, guide and camp staff fees. We provide
landing mats, landing nets and scales for proper handling of fish for
safe catch and release. There is a full time vehicle at the guests disposal
for driving from location to location.
Not included are fishing tackle, gratuities, alcohol or expenses of
personal nature.
Package prices begin from USD 3500 for 2 anglers for a week's fishing
holiday.
Specimen Expeditions cost higher due to longer duration, transit, crew
and camping needs.
If you have some time and wish to explore other waters at your own leisure,
especially for single anglers, we can supply a complete Expedition
Unit of vehicle, guide, camping kit and cook on a per day basis
for as long as you like.
All tours begin
in New Delhi, from where we'll pick you up and take you to the fishing
and back to New Delhi. We take the greatest care in taking you fishing.
Our tours are planned for as much ease of living as for the fishing
itself. All tours are fully escorted by our guides (one per expedition)
and camping staff. Anglers travel in one vehicle and staff in another,
making sure everything arrives on time.
Our Chef de Camp is an expert in catering to a wide variety of tastes,
but the emphasis is on clean, wholesome, nourishing and interesting
Indian food. Breakfasts are continental while main meals are Indian.
All food is prepeared with great care and hygiene.
While camping, guests have individual 4-man dome tents with lots of
space to keep gear and kit.
We use dry-earth pit toilets while camping on expedition under collapsible
toilet tents.
