Being closely connected with the watery element and everything that depends on it, we can take you down special rivers of outstanding natural beauty, much character and wildlife like you've never seen before. Add to it customised camping and you have the makings of a perfect nature holiday.

We are opening up new areas for anglers, birders and naturalists. If you have the time to indulge yourself in wilderness, we have places not on the tourist map and we'll try to keep them that way. From outstanding bird and animal life to superbly scenic campsites and homestays, our non-fishing routes will bring out the best of amazement and satisfaction.

Garkot in Champawat District is our other nature conservation project. The estate has 2,500 acres of mixed jungle, full of muntjac, sambhar, black bear, leopard, serow, wild boar and marten. Our birdlist has made it to the 80 species mark, you're welcome to add to it especially if you're good at small birds. The best thing about the birding is the proximity with which the birds can be observed or photographs. For the very serious photographer, we can build improvised hides for good shooting. Some really amazing campsites are around and for those who'd like nothing better than to just hike and camp in unspoilt locations without bumpind into other tourists, we have the just the place.

Apart from fishing, here, then, is roughly what else you can do with us:

> Hike down the Saryu river from Ghat to Pancheshwar. Or even take our boats and drift down from camp to camp while enjoying the boat ride. We are not into boating for the thrills, just as a great way of relaxing on the river and checking out life at the river's pace. We use small boats to make the trip

> Go birding with our staff in either Pancheshwar area or Garkot. The 'boys' used to be avid hunters with catapults and other tools. Today they still know the timings and species of birds (in English this time!) that can be spotted. We've also helped photographers get some prize shots so if there's a picture you need to make, we'll have a time and place to take you to.

> Have a location end everything but the right information? Some of our guides freelance and here's where you can use all the help you need without booking a trip. Please inquire about time and availibility of guides.
