We have chosen to specialize in a few but reliable beats which have provided us and guests with utmost satisfaction. From scenic locations to superlative fishing, we'll take you to places known to few anglers and even fewer tourists. To make sure our spots aren't spoilt by others, we won't mention exact spots either. A big hint for those who like to do pre-assault research- there are books about mahseer and locations that can be looked up....

For us, fishing in a great place is as important as the fishing itself, as is keeping it good for fishing. To this end, all camps are set at some of the most picturesque places along the rivers we fish. There's nothing quite like waking up to a Himalayan sunrise next to a quiet glide and heading straight for a session on the water before you're awake- you can even have tea by the river to wake up.

The two locations- Pancheshwar area and the Ramganga valley- mentioned in the website are locations we don't mind sharing with other anglers and are mere generalizations when it comes to something so vast as mahseer fishing in a river. Fishing with us at either venue will put you in touch with other places to tangle with fish in any way you like. It is the other rivers and spots we know that make us the finest fishing guides.

All expedition camps are eco-friendly but remote, though in most cases a phone call is a short drive away. Some of the rivers can be fished out of alternate arrangements in Rest Houses, hotels, village residence/inn, etc. on advance request.

Physical fitness is very important since all Himalayan mahseer fishing usually involves stiff hiking and clambering around riverbanks. In hot weather, it takes a tough individual to endure mahseer fishing but the rewards are immense.
Other than fitness, it is recommended to choose locations by level of skill in angling.
