Adventure fishing-the Jungle Hooks team

.......................................................................................................................................................
From chai in the morning to chilwas throughout the fishing day, it takes a good crew and camp staff to really feel good about that long planned expedition. Our people know the area intimately, having grown up fishing the rivers they now guide. So it's as much the folklore as the fish that will help you connect with some of the friendliest people and places in the world.

The outfit consists first and foremost of diehard anglers. Next, we are wildlife and conservation people, naturalists, adventurers, outdoors people (and some ex-poachers turned conservators). The emphasis is on great fishing in the Himalayan outdoors and, not counting luck, provide everything needed for a succesful trip. From comfortable lodgings (tents or others), superb food to right handling of fish, it's the people who make the trip as memorable as the fish. The guides and gillies have fished many waters and handled more fish than rods. What you can expect from us is the best fishing, hospitality and a great fishing holiday.

We're a group of adventure anglers who believe in getting up close to one of the most beautiful creatures that swims in places we feel most at home - the rivers, the mountains and the wilderness. We believe in a great fishing experience where one doesn't have to worry about anything but the fishing. Part of the funds we generate goes towards maintaining watchers, sanctuary pools and informers against poachers. We also maintain protected spots on certain rivers where it is possible to observe wild fish in natural habitats. These pools also serve to maintain a protected wild breeding stock and are an assurance of sport to continue.

Newcomers to the sport will appreciate friendly instruction from guides and leave with a greater meaning to the game of mahseer fishing and understanding of why mahseer need to be conserved while experts will be happy to add new tricks to their books. There's always something new to learn in each trip, both for the angler and us and these new discoveries are what make us fish all the time.

We believe angling for Himalayan Mahseer is a sport worthy of the best outdoors people and welcome responsible anglers who'd like to chase a legend in a mystical land and believe in preserving a great way of life.
